Pecos & The Rooftops delivered a high-energy performance that left the House of Blues crowd buzzing long after the final chord was struck. When the Texas-based band hit the stage, the energy in the room was electric. The band’s signature blend of country rock had everyone on their feet, singing along to songs like “Happy”, “5AM”, and massive hit “This Damn Song”. Midway through the set, they invited opener Riley Thomas back on stage for a cover of Hank Williams Jr.’s “Family Tradition,” turning the House of Blues into one giant sing-along. The camaraderie between the two acts was palpable, and the crowd’s enthusiasm reached a fever pitch.

However, the night wasn’t without its drama. At one point, a scuffle broke out in the audience, causing a brief pause in the music. In an unexpected move, the members of Pecos & The Rooftops came off the stage to help diffuse the situation. Their intervention was swift and effective, earning them even more respect from the crowd. Once everything was settled, the band jumped back into the set, never missing a beat. It was a night that the San Diegans in attendance will remember for a long time.
