Novo Amor, the stage name of Welsh singer-songwriter Ali Lacey, has been crafting his unique brand of atmospheric folk since his debut in 2014. A self-taught musician, Lacey’s journey began in his hometown of Cardiff, where he initially started writing music as a form of catharsis after a difficult breakup. His debut EP, Woodgate, NY, was written in an isolated cabin in the Adirondacks, a place that influenced the haunting, rustic soundscapes that would become his signature.
